Challenge
The Oakville Butcher Block is a local brick and mortar butcher shop that has had a long standing with their community since opening in 2016. The Oakville Butcher Block had paid a large sum out of pocket to have a website built for them. However, things didn't pan out well and that is when they reached out to us. We were able to track down the "missing" developer and get the rights transferred from their broken site. We then took on their site and worked to understand their goals.
Strategy
The strategy for the Oakville Butcher Block was foremost to modernize their lackluster site and expand to the features they wanted out of their site. They had three main goals they wanted out of their site. One being to have a large callout to their texting loyalty program. Second was to have their menu and prices easily found and searchable. Third and finally was to build an E-Commerce platform to sell gift cards and merchandise.
Approach
Our approach was two fold with the Oakville Butcher Block website. First and foremost was to move quickly to take over the existing site and get it fixed and moved to our own hosting platform before the previous developer went dark. In a weekend we were able to execute this and got a simple site launched. Following that we went to work building out their full fledge site with all their requested features. Once fully live they were ecstatic to see that their site looked great on all devices and loaded in the "blink of an eye"!

The Oakville Butcher Block website is one of our oldest clients and their site's success has been our greatest accomplishment at Chrome Dome Web Designs. Through their large loyalty program banner on their homepage they have grown that audience to over 7,000 members receiving notifications weekly! Additionally they reached over $1,000 in Gift Cards sales via their E-Commerce platform in back to back years for 2020 and 2021!
