Challenge
This website was a straightforward standard site. The main challenge here was that the client wanted a single page site. Meaning that everything would be presented in a concise manner via a single scrollable plane. Since this was a portfolio site, it really came down to expressing who the customer is, what their experience is, their portfolio, and finally a way to contact them.
Strategy
The strategy here was to present the information in a chronological order. Presenting the information in this way felt like the most intuitive experience to a user viewing the site. However, the most important information on the site was the client's portfolio. With this in mind we planned a "View my work" section to the landing section of the site. This would allow a user to immediately skip to that section of the content. Naturally at the end of the site is a contact form for users to use if that was their intention.
Approach
This site was not a large endeavor so we planned to release it quickly and in one iteration. We executed this as planned and ended up getting the site designed, developed, and launched in just under a week. We included some neat widgets to present the portfolio in a fashion that allowed users to view in more detail by opening a modal with content.
